A new blogger has launched on my own site. It is powered by BO-Blog. It is written in PHP and support all the templates changing. I like it very much. Currently, I am still using the old template. In a later time, I will try to make a template by myself. ^_^. The blog can be accessed via http://blog.zhanglei.net or http://blog.zhanglei.org.

I just read some professional designer's articles, they are really touched and now I am review the plan for build the new version of my site. Maybe I need to postpond the plan, because now I am interested in the XHTML standard. It is good and worth to study.

Today is the 55th Birthday for my motherland China. Best wishes for her. And I am proud to be Chinese!

Due to various reason, this site is not updated for quite a long time. Many things happened. I have bought another FQDN for this site :) www.zhanglei.net, so both of them will be mapped on this site. Also, I am planning to upgrade this site to a new version. Now I am doing the UI design... It is quite tough :( Anyway, finally I make up the first page HERE . I hope I can get it done by the end of this year.

The vacation is finally finished. Now the last semester starts. All the updates of this website are stopped till now. :( Hopefully I will get the right time and mood to continue my work in the next few days. ^_^

Exams are finished. Just hope that it would be a happy ending to me. ^_^ Anyway, it is past. Now I have to concentrate on the projects.

I do not know how much effort I could spend on this website. Maybe in the late December I will pay more attention to the web. I am thinking of spliting the Chinese contents and the English contents.

I just start to learn the photographics. ^_^ My camera is Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z1. It is quite a lovely camera. With it, I made several pictures.I put those good ones at http://my.dcview.com/lonelywolf. Maybe later I will make a local copy for those photos.

Also, one photo is added to the gallery. It is taken at the reunion dinner. ^_^ I come to singapore for four years already. Time flies!

The kernel is working perfectly for me. But I have to stop for a while. It is because the exams are coming. Just hope I will get a good luck for these coming exams.

This time, the updates are mainly in NBA section. I have uploaded the full schedule till 1st December. Just click "Full Version" and you will see it. Also, the normal section added the "NBA Flash" link, which can open multiple windows to view the live broadcast. This is just a helper for guys loving more than one team (so that you can watch them at the same time). The original work is done by NBA.com.I just do a re-direction. Since the data source is not always available, I make the link appear from 7am to 4pm daily. In this period, you should be able to enjoy the power. Enjoy watching NBA and please pray for me. ^_^

Now I am sitting in front of the computer with my finger crossed for the kernel to boot up. I am testing the congestion manager(RFC3124).But it comes out so many problems... :( Hopefully I can finish this experiment by this weekend.

The website is updated again. For the resource field, some new hot stuffs are added. I am also trying to trace the NBA step daily. Maybe later when I am not busy like this, I will try to make a Chinese version of the web, since quite a lot of my friends suggest me to do that. ^_^

I am quite busy recently. The life is too stressful. So I decide to get myself out for a short break. I just reviewed my old website. That one is also with this white-gray-black style. But both the content and the interface are out of date. So I just use this break to make a new version. This version is solely developped on Linux system. I use mozilla editor,Gimp,and vim to do the editing, and use Apache 1.3 together with PHP 4 module for testing. Now most of the functions are done and this is finally a complete website.^_^ I will update the content later. Hopefully this website will have a longer life. ^_^

Why do I choose white-gray-black? It is hard to express. If you know the traditional Chinese painting, it might be easier to understand. It is because the artists use chinese ink and brush only. It is just a world of black and white. The artists are not capturing the real world. Instead, they are describing the soul and the spirit. For example, the artist drew a mountain, it may not look the same as the real mountain, but it makes you feel that the mountain is there. That is the attraction of this black and white world. I love this feel. And I hope you can enjoy it,too. ^_^
